Following the Prime Minister's statement on Monday March 16th, our groups have been advised to suspend their meetings until further notice.

Welcome to Stone & District U3A

Membership is open to all who are retired or no longer in full time employment, and provides the opportunity to enjoy a diverse selection of educational, social, recreational and creative activities in an informal and friendly atmosphere with like minded people.

Most activities take place from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm and are located at sites in and around Stone.

The annual membership fee from September 1st 2019 is £40, which incorporates the annual subscription and fees to attend sessions/groups. It also includes our newsletter, postal delivery of a national magazine 5 times a year and the option of a national email newsletter. The membership fee for the 6 months from March 1st until the end of our membership year is £20.

Stone & District U3A is a registered charity and is run by a Management Committee of volunteers who are elected at the AGM. All the groups are also led by volunteers who have a skill, knowledge, or area of expertise which they are happy to share with others.

New members may enrol on their first attendance at their chosen group but should check with the Group Leader before attendance to ensure that the group has vacancies.
